I hope you enjoyed your Labor Day weekend!  I spent my Sunday trying to resurrect my flower garden and the fall pansies look quite happy!  For the second year, we are having the Carabella sweater swap!  Bring in a gently worn sweater and receive $25.00 off the purchase of one new sweater!  How fun it will be to see how many sweaters we collect in the window this year!  The sweaters will be donated to the Woman's Shelter of Pittsburgh.

THANK YOU!  Whether you came to our 7th Annual Alzheimer benefit or supported us generously with your donations, you played an important role in making this the best event to date! I hope you realize how much I appreciate your visits to Carabella and supporting me in so many ways! The restaurants and merchants were so generous with their time and resources. I hope you'll have the opportunity to visit them the next time you're in Oakmont. It truly is a special place.

Hi there!
I hope everyone had a wonderful fathers day weekend.  While not a big day on my calendar, I am reminded of how blessed I am to have been given such gifts from my father.  I always remember his eyes.  How they twinkled and were quick to tear.  ( Marsha will be tearing as she reads this, as I am as I type. )  He was such a quiet man.  My parents NEVER argued.  I am always amazed at this fun fact.  We never had much, yet I never knew that.  We always felt rich.  Always felt loved.  My strong sense of family and tradition were the best gifts I could have been given.  Gifts that I hope to pass to my children, nieces and nephews.

We are having a great time collecting for the Alzheimer event!

Here's hoping we "wine-d up with the biggest wine basket ever"!!!  Keep 'em coming.

New Spring Releases!

The best thing about being in retail is that the seasons come faster.  We get to see the brighter colors before the weather begins to break and now you can too!  We are featuring tanks and tops from Cut Cute, cashmere spring scarves, pants by ECRU and much more.  Random act of kindness day was a smashing success at Carabella.  The nicest people showed up on Friday and were greatly appreciative of the little surprises awaiting them at the door.  The emails we received were incredible and this is sure to be a yearly event.

The photos are the first of the new "Bella Picks" - all of the yellows will be deemed sunny side up.  Nothing says spring more than the sunshine yellow crochet cropped sweater, layered with a hot color tank and wrapped with juicy cashmere print scarves.  The softer side of spring features muted print tanks...we LOVE them and can even make it the updated twin set!  Beach bound, nothing screams cool summer breeze and a walk on the beach more than these nubby cotton hoodies from White and Warren.  Yummy neutrals of vanilla, chili pepper and tobacco.  Next week you will see her bold striped crew neck sister, which is a great topper for Joe's cropped jeans.  Get your sizes before they are gone!
